PlayStation Network Faces Major Disruption, Thousands Impacted
PlayStation users worldwide experienced significant disruptions as the PlayStation Network (PSN) went down on Friday evening, preventing access to key online features. The outage, which began around 5:20 p.m. ET, saw a peak of nearly 70,000 reports on Down Detector by 5:49 p.m., highlighting widespread connectivity issues.
Users Struggle to Access Online Features
The disruption left many gamers unable to connect to friends, access account settings, or make purchases on the PlayStation Store. With the outage occurring during peak gaming hours, frustration mounted as users took to social media to report their experiences.
